On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

Nottingham-based home improvements firm Stormclad has bolstered its senior team with the appointment of John Brocklehurst as operations manager.

Brocklehurst joins family business Stormclad with over 32 years of experience in the industry and previously worked for various conservatory, window and door installation companies in a multitude of roles from a conservatory operations surveyor to a managing director.

In his new role, he will be responsible for the overall operations of the company across installations, surveying, customer service, fleet and premises.

Brocklehurst said: “I’m very pleased to be joining Stormclad, which is a highly respected home improvements firm that’s centred around its customer.

Lincoln-based Delta-Simons Environmental Consultants is expanding its Environmental Planning division with the addition of two new technical services: Noise and Air Quality after the hire of noise and air quality manager, Jonathan Mape.

Damian Robinson, environmental planning director, said: “We’re very excited that Jonathan is on board. Our Environmental Planning division is seeing steady growth in the market and the introduction of Noise and Air Quality service supported by Jonathan’s skills only set to broaden our expertise in the sector, enabling us to offer our clients a wider service to support their planning objectives.”
