Midlands Cyber sets sights on USA

Midlands Cyber have the US cyber market firmly in their sights. After signing a Memorandum of Understanding with the State of Maryland back in July 2017, and two successful trade missions to the East Coast, the UK Government backed initiative have continued making strides in the US cyber market.

Midlands Cyber in partnership with Intercede Ltd are proud to be hosting part one of two cyber workshops on the 27th February 2018. Designed for cyber SMEs and entrepreneurs seeking to explore overseas trade, in particular the US, the team have organised a half-day workshop to help businesses understand the opportunity and viability of the US cyber market.

The half day will be led by leading expert Andy Williams, the former UK Cyber Envoy for the Department of International Trade and current International Director of the iCyber Centre @bwtech Maryland. Offering a plethora of knowledge and experience, Andy is an international business expert with particular experience in helping cybersecurity companies grow successfully overseas. He has led several initiatives for both the UK and the US governments to grow transatlantic trade and investment. Previously, he led the international business of UK cybersecurity software start-up Titania, which now supplies to 90+ countries.
