Fourth hire of the year for fast-growing managed service provider

Ilkeston-based IT managed service provider IDT is expanding again with the appointment of another new IT Support Engineer.

Andy Hopkinson has joined IDT as part of the firm’s mission to be “a business that makes IT support unique and human, especially at a time where digital dominates”.

Lawrie Moon, operations director at IDT, said: “I see time and time again when businesses grow they quickly lose the personal touch and duty of care that we all value.

“We always emphasise the human element of our business and how important it is to us to build trust and grow a relationship with our customers. We like to make people happy because it’s only human, and we know happy customers stick around.

“This is our fourth hire this year – and I know it won’t be the last.”

Hopkinson said he has settled in quickly at IDT.

He added: “Since I first started at IDT everyone has been so welcoming and helping me to fit right in. I look forward to coming into work every day due to the incredible atmosphere and culture in the office. Although I’ve only been here a short time, I feel like I’m developing new skills due to tackling a wide range of different support queries from our customers.”

“As soon as I had my first interview at IDT, I knew I wanted to work here due to the firm belief in the values to make IT human whilst delivering exceptional service to our customers by going above and beyond the above and beyond! I’m really looking forward to meeting and supporting our customers to uphold these values.”
