Law firm brings recruitment in-house with new hire

Rosie Hare

Rosie Hare has joined UK top 200 law firm Roythornes Solicitors as an internal recruiter.

Hare began her career recruiting for accountancy firms, including the ‘Big 5’. After this, she recruited teachers for London schools on an international basis before moving back to Lincolnshire where she joined a local specialist commercial recruiter based in Peterborough. Here, she supported Roythornes to recruit for both its Spalding and Alconbury sites.

Hare said: “Roythornes places the training and development of its people at the heart of everything it does. It has an excellent succession programme, promoting from within and offering people a range of opportunities to grow and develop. As a firm it has an ambitious mind-set and is always looking to the future, ensuring that the company nurtures today’s talent to become ‘Big Sky Thinkers’ and future leaders of the firm.”

Hare is based at Roythornes’ Spalding office, but given the ambitious growth plans of the company she will also spend time in its Alconbury, Nottingham, and Peterborough offices.

Roythornes managing director Vember Mortlock said: “Bringing our recruitment in-house reflects the strength of our commitment to grow our teams with the best talent from across the region and further afield.

“We’re particularly focussing on the Cambridgeshire market where talent from the city and the region might be looking for a new challenge or a better work/life balance. A whole new community is being built at Alconbury, with housing, schools, surgeries, and leisure facilities, so it offers a fabulous home-life with the chance to work on the same quality of cases as in the city.

“As we are recruiting for roles from paralegals right up to partners across the firm, we’re delighted to have found Rosie to bring our recruitment function in-house.”
