Canadian bakery giant plans Leicester venue
Canadian fast food and bakery chain Tim Hortons could be set to open a venue in Leicester, TheBusinessDesk.com understands.
Plans for a Tim Hortons Cafe and Bake Shop at 12-14 East Gates have been lodged with Leicester City Council.
The moves comes almost a year after the company shelved plans to open a drive-thru restaurant on London Road in Nottingham.
Tim Hortons was set up by Tim Horton, a National Hockey League legend in 1964 in Ontario, Canada. It entered the UK in 2017 and has 21 venues across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
It sells coffee, freshly-baked goods, sandwiches & wraps.
