Electrical firm buys Bingham base

A Nottingham-based electrical wholesaler and supplier has bought new premises following an off-market deal by Innes England.

Giltbrook Electrical has moved to a 3,500 sq ft space at 7 Moorbridge Road not far from its current Bingham branch.

The firm’s new premises will serve as a base for its distributions and trade counter business.

Alistair King, director at Giltbrook Electrical, said: “We’re delighted with our new premises. Moorbridge Industrial Estate is a great location and we particularly wanted a site of over 3000 sq ft but had struggled to find anything suitable for a number of years.”

Ross Whiting, business space surveyor at Innes England, added: “There is a lack of stock and availability in Bingham generally and on the Moorbridge Industrial Estate in particular.

“The move means that Giltbrook can expand into bigger premises of around 3,500 sq ft, but crucially allows them to stay on the industrial estate that suits the business.”
