Weekender: Derbyshire accessories brand goes one step beyond

A Derbyshire-based accessories brand has teamed up with one of Britain’s best-loved bands.

Tootal, of Codnor, has joined with Madness to release a new silk neck scarf celebrating the 40th anniversary of the iconic group’s first hit single.

Madness are long-time fans of Tootal, having owned several of the brand’s scarfs over the years, and indeed, Tootal’s 100 per cent silk scarves with their signature paisley, polka dot, geometric and floral patterns have been favoured by dapper dressers around the world for decades.

The specially commissioned design – part of the Tootal Vintage Collection – incorporates the Madness logo and takes inspiration from the band’s ethos.

The scarf will go on sale this month exclusively through Merchandising For Life. Only 300 will be produced.
