A growing Loughborough-based eLearning company is set to take on 30 new staff over the next two years.

DeltaNet International has recently upgraded its eLearning platform to utilise artificial intelligence, and the firm is now looking to continue its recruitment drive.

The company, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary, supplies off-the-shelf and tailored eLearning solutions to businesses. It has won more than £1.5 million in new contracts this year.

Its eLearning platform, “Astute,” is now able to make data-driven “smart” recommendations to employees based on their personal learning preferences and past behaviours.

Managing director Darren Hockley said: “Technology is transforming how companies engage with and develop learners to upskill and reskill their workforce.

“Providing your employees with seamless access to relevant learning content will boost engagement levels, increasing return on learning investment and contributing to the overall productivity of the organisation.”

Recently promoted IT development manager Jason Stirland, who oversaw the Astute project, said: “We’ve seen in 2019 how technology holds the key to a dynamic and agile skills market. Continued investment in technology helps empower employees and create equal opportunities.”

Another recent promotion to the board, Stacey Taylor, expects the firm’s turnover to hit £2.6 million “despite economic uncertainty over Brexit.”

Alongside its recruitment push, DeltaNet International is also planning to develop its workforce by promoting staff internally.
