Civil engineering consultancy goes for growth
ADC Infrastructure, the Nottingham-based civil engineering consultancy, has relocated to bigger premises – its fourth in six years – as part of its growth plans.
The company has moved to a 3,448 sq ft office suite at King Edward Court in the city.
The deal was overseen by Innes England and Jonathan Gilbert from Hartnell Taylor and Cook.
David Cummins, director at ADC Infrastructure, said: “King Edward Court is our fourth home as the company has grown from a start-up in 2013 to a 20 strong team today.
“This latest move gives us space for our current staff and the all-important pool table, as well as space to fulfil the business plan’s growth projections. It also gives us a much better quality environment, with a modern open plan floorplate, private meeting spaces, comfort cooling, car and cycle parking, and showers.
“Space of the right size and quality near the Lace Market was proving difficult to find, and after much deliberation, we decided to cross Upper Parliament Street to King Edward Court. We’re very pleased we did and the relocation has given us all a boost.
“We are very grateful to Ross Whiting who helped negotiate the lease in double quick time.”
Ross Whiting, business space surveyor at Innes England, added: “ADC Infrastructure needed more space but had been struggling to find offices which suited their needs and would allow them to grow.
“King Edward Court suited them because of its excellent location and high-quality space. The building was refurbished three years ago by the landlord and has proved very popular since then, with only one 2,498 sq ft suite currently available.
“Nottingham city centre has a real lack of availability of Grade A space so refurbished offices are likely to be snapped up quickly.”
ADC Infrastructure provides consultancy services to the property development sector in transport planning, infrastructure design and water management.
