Multi-channel communications company Opus Trust Communications is set to invest £1.5 million in its customer communication offering.

The Leicester-based firm will implement an extensive IT investment programme to replace its existing server room with a state-of-the-art facility comprising upgraded software and the latest composition and orchestration systems.

The news follows Opus’ acquisition of critical communications provider Critiqom, a move which is expected to boost its revenue by half and create a combined turnover of £42 million.

The firm says there will be no downtime or impact on customers while the upgrade takes place.

CEO Tony Strong said: “We know that to keep ahead of the market and deliver real value to our clients we need to invest in the latest technology. That is why we will be allocating more than £1.5 million to this project.

“We provide innovative multi-channel communications services to our clients, which are incredibly complex. Through investment in projects like this, we give our clients the continued confidence to make Opus Trust their communications partner of choice.”
