Former insurance giant’s offices on the market

The former Chesterfield offices of insurance giant AIG are up for grabs after the firm decided against renewing its lease.

The 10,000 sq ft headquarters building has come to market after NG Chartered Surveyors were appointed to find new tenants for Edinburgh House on Dunston Technology Park Park in Chesterfield.

NG’s managing director Richard Sutton is leading the campaign to find new tenants for the premises, following insurance giant AIG’s decision not to renew its lease into 2020.

Sutton said: “Edinburgh House is one of the best opportunities available in Chesterfield and enjoying a prominent position at the entrance to one of the town’s most prestigious developments.

“I have been pleasantly surprised at how the property has been received in the market. This is a great opportunity for ambitious companies in the area to take on a statement building – it has real presence.”
