Consultancy appointed to manage iconic office building

The Arc

A prominent East Midlands-based commercial property consultancy has been appointed to manage The Arc, one of Derby’s most iconic office buildings.

Innes England, which already acts as the letting agent on the Pride Park property on behalf of Derby housebuilder Meadowview Homes, will now oversee the management of the building.

Matt Howson, associate director at Innes England, said: “We’re delighted to be working with Meadowview Homes and will be providing a full range of management services, including rent collection and service charge administration.

“I’m looking forward to building strong relationships with the current and future tenants to learn more about their requirements so we can ensure that the property remains suitable for their needs.

“We value all our relationships and work hard to get to know people personally. We think it’s an important part of our service to maintain good communication through face-to-face meetings, getting out on site and being easy to contact.

“With the combined expertise of our management and agency teams, we are confident we can help the property reach its full potential so that it is an asset for both the landlord and the tenants.”

The ground floor of the building is currently fully let to Handelsbanken, while the first floor is available to rent.

A statement from Meadowview Homes said: “We’re pleased to be working with Innes England, having already built up an excellent relationship with them from their previous agency work.

“With the team’s management experience, we’re sure the property will go from strength to strength.

“Meadowview Homes used to be based at The Arc and found it to be very light and spacious and a great working space. It also has great access to the A52, M1 and Derby.”
