On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

Adam Booth and Melisa Martinez

Derby-based attraction and experience design firm Katapult has welcomed two new starters.

Adam Booth and Melisa Martinez have joined the business as project producer and people and environment specialist respectively.

Booth, who brings 14 years’ experience to Katapult, comes on-board from ride manufacturer Simworx. He has also worked for Merlin Entertainments.

Martinez has held a number of executive assistant and office manager roles with international businesses. She has the ability to speak 5 languages, which Katapult says will be a major asset as it looks to expand its international operations.

Katapult’s CEO and co-founder Dawn Foote said: “As we continue to develop our profile globally it is important for us to add specialist industry experience. Adam arrives having managed just the sort of projects we are working on. Melisa will be a welcome addition to the team with her highly organised style, and has already begun settling in by declaring her love for Germany’s Phantasialand!”

Elsewhere, specialist lender Together has appointed a new regional account manager for the Midlands.

Sally Precious Ward

Sally Precious Ward, who will also be responsible for the South West region, brings 24 years of financial experience to the Cheshire-headquartered firm. She previously held roles at Mortgage Express, UK Asset Resolution and Computershare.

She said: “I will be working with some of our closest business partners to further strengthen our relationships. Joining Together is an exciting opportunity to work for a leading specialist lender to help it realise its growth ambitions.”
