Building services firm enters administration

Heatcare, the Mansfield-based building services provider to the care sector, has entered administration.

Leonard Curtis was appointed to look after the day-to-day running of the firm on 5 March.

In its latest results, for the 18 months to 28 February 2019, Heatcare turned over £14.46m but sustained a one-off loss which was due to legacy contract which were completed late and several contracts which were delayed for five months. Heatcare lost almost £466,000 over the period. At the time the company employed 64 people.

The company, which was set up in 1996, provided ventilation, comfort cooling, control systems, electrical, water treatment and chlorination package to the nursing and care home construction industry.
