Young dealmaker joins Nottingham advisory firm

Nottingham-based Provantage Corporate Finance has appointed Alex Thompson.

With over eight years’ experience working with privately-owned and managed businesses across a variety of sectors, Thompson also has three years’ dedicated corporate finance experience focused on disposals, management buy-outs, acquisitions, equity realisation and commercial strategy planning. He joins from Smith Cooper.

He said: “I am really excited to be joining the Provantage team who are going from strength to strength having completed some great deals and I am keen to contribute and develop in such a positive and value-driven environment”

Thompson trained as a chartered accountant working within a variety of sectors with specific experience in manufacturing, industrials, consumer products and business services
