Workspace design firm expands into Midlands

Stephanie Hays

Hull-headquartered fit-out and design firm Chameleon Business Interiors has expanded into the Midlands after appointing Nottingham-based Stephanie Hays as business development manager for the region.

Hays joins Chameleon with 12 years’ experience in the industry.

“During my career, I’ve specialised in furniture and I’ve always lived and worked in the Midlands – so I understand the local market and what people here want and need from Chameleon’s services,” she said.

She added: “I’m particularly interested in workplace health and wellbeing – which are of course hot topics at the moment. I was attracted to Chameleon as the team here also shares these interests and recognises the importance of designing for people. Chameleon also came with glowing client references and a record of producing high standards of work.

“In my new role, I’m hoping to engage with companies in the Midlands who are looking to transform their current or new workspaces and are looking to inject that ‘little something extra’.”

Chairman of Chameleon, Shaun Watts, said: “We’re an ambitious and growing business, but we’ve always had people at the heart of everything we do. We’ve delivered a number of successful projects in the Midlands, so are delighted to welcome Steph to the team to aid our expansion into the region.”

Chameleon completed work on Birmingham’s specialist cataracts hospital – Apex House.

Watts added: “The industry is now emerging from a period of uncertainty, working hard to emerge stronger than before. I’m confident that our fantastic team will support this effort and look forward to working on some exciting new projects in the Midlands.”
