Ward throws weight behind circular economy at East Midlands Business Masters Awards

Donald Ward receiving his Ambassador award at last year's event

Derbyshire-based metal recycling and waste management firm, Ward, has thrown its considerable weight behind our East Midlands Business Masters Awards by committing to sponsor the event.

Ward is sponsoring the Sustainability category, which is new for 2021. The deadline for entries for this year’s Business Masters is Friday 16 July – you can nominate your business heroes here.

Donald Ward, operations director at Ward, said: “As last year’s Business Masters Ambassador and the proud winners of the large company of the year award, we felt this was an ideal opportunity to give back and recognise other key players in the region who are achieving great things in challenging times.

“The 2020 Business Masters was the last event team Ward attended before the world changed beyond recognition. Now, more than ever, delivering a future which is both economically and environmentally sustainable is vital, so we are really pleased to be sponsoring the Sustainability category this year and look forward to seeing the strides that East Midland businesses are making to reduce emissions and contribute to a circular economy.”
