50 jobs lost as property maintenance firm calls in administrators

Some 50 jobs have been lost after administrators were called in at a Derbyshire property maintenance firm.

John Lowe and Nathan Jones, partners at business advisory firm FRP, were appointed as joint administrators of Woodland Property Services on July 5.

A spokesperson for FRP told TheBusinessDesk.com: “The Derbyshire-based company, which specialised in maintaining the property assets of public and private clients, has experienced significant financial challenges since the onset of the pandemic which left the business unable to meet its financial obligations. As a result, the business has ceased operations and regrettably all 50 employees are being made redundant by the company.”

The joint administrators say thet are winding down the business, whilst supporting affected employees in making their claims to the Redundancy Payments Service.
