Logistics firm in double European expansion

GRL's site in the Netherlands

Daventry-based Global Reach Logistics (GRL) has announced the opening of two new facilities in Europe.

The new logistic centres will be open by the beginning of August 2021.

These sites will serve as GRL’s European connections for their fulfilment solutions, intended to support existing clients and new online retailer’s looking for a third-party provider to enter the European market.

“We look forward to expanding our logistics solution into Europe and operationally expanding our business,” said Henry Qi, managing director at Global Reach Logistics. “The opening of the new sites was a logical approach to meet current customer demand. We look forward to building on the growth of the business and creating an optimised solution for eCommerce retailers.”

GRL will introduce over 350,000 sq ft of warehouse space into Europe, with one site 15km from the city centre of Poznań, Poland, and a Netherlands site located in Ophemertrstraat by Rotterdam port.

“Due to the current climate, customers were looking for a solution post-Brexit. These facilities will remove the complexity and allow retailers to meet their customers around the globe,” said Harry Johnson, sales and marketing director at GRL. “It is a vital time for the business to grow, and we are thrilled to welcome employees to our team with the expansion of this facility.”
