Healthcare company bolsters workforce with 14 hires

Home-to-lab healthcare testing company Medichecks is celebrating growth during its 20th anniversary year by welcoming 14 new staff and bringing its headcount up to 80.

The hires come following a spate of new contracts with public and private sector partners, such as the NHS, Boots and Holland and Barrett and owing to increased demand from consumers, including those adversely affected by the pandemic.

Two new faces joining the Nottingham-headquartered team are quality assurance and regulatory compliance manager Sunali Purba and quality and regulatory compliance specialist Paul May.

Senior hires comprise Guy Nicholson as Medichecks’ new head of data, Rosalie Marsden as business analyst and head of corporate social responsibility and Martin Smith as head of fulfilment.

The marketing department has welcomed Lizzie Lynch as content manager, Ella-Chloé Krokoszynska as ecommerce executive, Elle Grosz as marketing executive and Lauren Cressey as digital content executive.

After recent tender successes with the NHS, Katie Collins has been appointed as tenders manager while Thomas Jones is the brand’s new full stack developer.

Following three years with Lincoln University and six years previously working in solicitors’ firms, Chris Farell joins as assistant accountant.

The customer care team also welcomes two new specialists, law graduate Tori Francis, who previously worked for the Citizens Advice Bureau and Shabri Pritchard, who has over 15 years’ experience in the hospitality sector.

Helen Marsden, CEO and co-founder of Medichecks, says: “It’s very humbling to see how the company has grown over the past two decades. Thanks to the fantastic mix of skills and ability within our team now, we are ideally placed to really achieve our ambitious growth plans.”
