MBO brings instant results for estate agency

An East Midlands estate agency is planning further expansion after undergoing a management buyout.

Results Estate Agents of Rothwell, Northamptonshire, has been bought by Anita Lovell from its previous management team. The firm has now opened a second branch based on Station Road in Desborough along with the update of all its IT and telephony equipment, new website and additional marketing platforms.

The move represents a remarkable change in career for Lovell, whose background is rooted in the logistics sector. She had previously worked as warehouse operations director for a national warehouse and distribution company. Indeed, in 2008, Lovell won a prestigious award being named Business Woman of the Year at the MAN everywoman in Transport and Logistics Awards.

However, Lovell’s sights are now firmly set on growing Results Estate Agents, and, after opening the second branch in 2020, she has her eyes firmly set on opening the third.

She said: “I have big plans for the future of Results and that we will build upon; creating a dynamic team with a strong work ethic, whilst upholding our reputation as the ‘Trusted Agency’ and customer service excellence. We also have the privilege of working with some fantastic third-party suppliers who play a huge part in our success. From IT, professional photographer, to the local tradesmen.”

Lovell insisted that the Rothwell office will remain its HQ and clients will always remain their main focus.

She added: “We’re absolutely committed to Rothwell and surrounding villages, but the time has come to spread the company’s wings. We’re delighted to be able to serve Desborough and have already got our eyes on a potential third branch which will mean more staff and a greater geographical coverage for us. Our investment in IT and Telephony has meant our sites are linked and we can communicate like we are all in the same office, something that was never possible before.

The opening of the new branch was helped by Ilkeston managed IT services provider, IDT.
