Digital product studio, Distinction, has relocated to its new HQ at NG2 Business Park, with Nottingham Rugby Club’s Josh Poullet on hand to official open the office.

Distinction, founded in 2001, was one of Nottingham’s first digital agencies. The firm’s clients include moneysupermarket.com, Experian and HD Decisions, Capita, Equifax and TDX Group.

Distinction says it has moved to NG2 Business Park to support an expansion plan and hybrid working model. The firm is currently recruiting five subject matter expert roles.

CEO Greg Bloor said: “We’ve always had a flexible, work from anywhere policy so adapting to the enforced remote working when the pandemic hit last year wasn’t too difficult. Having said that, our team has missed those classic water cooler moments and so it became clear that a hybrid working model better suits our business which is one of the reasons why we’ve moved to NG2 Business Park.

“Our studio has been designed to support face-to-face collaboration with light, airy spaces where our team can come together to do their best work and feel safe while they’re here. And the space is flexible to allow for expansion as our team grows.

“Having supported Nottingham Rugby for many years means they feel part of the Distinction story, so it seemed natural to ask them to come and be part of this new chapter for us. Josh Poullet is a Nottingham lad like me so it’s wonderful to have homegrown talent here to help us celebrate.”

Steve Smith, COO of Nottingham Rugby, said: “Distinction have been an excellent partner and sponsor to the club for many years now. They have supported us massively through the creation of a new website, as a sponsor, whilst also supporting our marketing strategy. It has been brilliant to be able to host Distinction at The Bay for various team building and training days.”
