People: Innes England; Parry Creative

Innes England has appointed a new associate director at its Nottingham office.

Trish Topliss, who previously worked at Gleeds for nearly 17 years, will join Innes’ building consultancy team.

She said: “I’m thrilled to be joining Innes England and the team in Nottingham. The opportunity to become an associate director at a new firm was too good to turn down. The business has an excellent reputation in the city and is one that I’ve been hearing about for years.

“Nottingham is fast becoming one of the country’s brightest and busiest cities and it’s been wonderful watching it grow over the past 20 years. The market continues to show no signs of slowing down. I am ready for this new challenge, both personally and professionally.

“While I’ve only been here a month and I’m still finding my feet and getting used to the new environment, I’m excited to pass on my experience to the graduates we have here at Innes. No one day is the same in building surveying and the projects are always varied and interesting.”

“We know Trish is a very capable and experienced surveyor that can hit the ground running. She is already taking the lead role with Phoenix Futures to deliver their £1.6m care home refurbishment, and helping us deliver a multi-million pound refurbishment programme.”

Branding and design consultancy Parry Creative has announced the appointment of graphic designer Jessie Keightley, who becomes the first employee to join the business.

Keightley brings seven years’ experience to the Derby-based consultancy, which was founded by creative director Laura Parry in 2020.

Parry said: “It’s a very exciting time here at Parry Creative and I’m delighted to have Jessie join the team! Welcoming my first employee, within the first two years of launching the business, is a very significant and exciting milestone – and one I’m very proud of!

“As well as strengthening the foundations of the business, Jessie will also help take the company forward, enabling us to continue building strong ongoing relationships with small and medium sized businesses that need a little help bringing the value back through our creative design services.”
