People: Fisher German; BB&J Commercial

Property consultancy Fisher German has appointed a new risk and compliance director.

Christian Fleischmann will be based at the firm’s head office in Ashby-de-la-Zouch.

A practising solicitor, Fleischmann has a strong governance, risk and compliance background having spent over 20 years in the financial services sector.

He joins Fisher German from Unity Trust Bank plc, where he led on conduct risk, enterprise risk and operational resilience.

“As we continue to grow, most recently through a merger with Matthews & Goodman, we remain committed to the highest standards of risk and compliance and Christian brings with him a wealth of experience to support this.”

BB&J Commercial has added an agency surveyor to its commercial team.

Cameron Godfrey was previously a property manager with the Derby-based company’s sister brand, Boxall Brown & Jones.

He joins the team as the property firm looks to expand its agency business.
