Flexible workspace provider eyes second Nottingham site

Cubo's site at Fenchurch House in Nottingham

Flexible office provider Cubo says it will open a second Nottingham site “very soon” after the success of its initial facility on King Street.

The company, which was founded by property developers Marc and Rebecca Brough, bought the 20,000 sq ft Fenchurch House on King Street in Nottingham city centre at the end of 2019 and the workspace opened a year later, in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Since then, Cubo Nottingham has welcomed 41 businesses, with more than 360 staff.

The workspace is currently operating at 95% capacity and with a “significant” pipeline of enquiries, there are plans to open a second site in Nottingham. A new main entrance to the building recently opened on King Street.

Businesses who already call Cubo Nottingham home include digital marketing agency Adtrak, next-gen technology services provider Endava and recruitment professionals G2 Recruitment.

Marc Brough, CEO of Cubo, said: “Over the last two years, Cubo Nottingham has exceeded all our expectations and we’ve welcomed a diverse range of businesses who are looking for a new and modern way of working.

“We opened Cubo Nottingham at a time of great uncertainty, but our unbeatable location, amenities and high-quality space means we have gone from strength to strength. We look forward to welcoming more local, regional and national operators to Cubo over the coming year.”

Cubo also has flexible office space in Sheffield, Leeds, Derby and Paradise Birmingham.
