£12m football centre takes shape in Derby
A £12m football centre is currently under construction at Racecourse Park in Derby.
The Conservative administration of Derby City Council approved plans for a new complex earlier this year with construction set to be completed early next year (2024).
Over the next few months, Chaddesden Park will experience a “significant change” with the finalisation of the football stadium.
This hub will feature fresh changing rooms, meeting areas, and a community café.
The project includes three modern 3G football fields alongside the hub, enhancements to an existing park football pitch and a bigger car park which will create 200 extra spaces.
