£500,000 refurbishment for training centre in Derby

Develop, a UK training provider for compliance, technical, and safety training, has revealed its newly-upgraded training centre in Derby.

The centre underwent extensive renovations, due to a £500,000 investment from Develop and its parent company, JTL.

This funding was used to enhance classrooms with technology and completely renovate office spaces.

The initial 16-week project also included a modernisation of communal areas such as the reception, café, restrooms, and breakout spaces.

Phase one of the renovation is now complete, and there are plans for phase two, which will involve a  refurbishment of practical training facilities and the addition of more classrooms.

Develop will also be expanding its course offerings. These courses will encompass a wide range of compliance and safety training, serving various industries such as construction, defence, facilities management, healthcare, telecommunications and utilities.

Matthew Gray, operations manager at Develop, said: “We couldn’t be happier with the results of the refurbishment of our Derby centre so far, as we are now able to offer our delegates cutting-edge technology and facilities as a result of the upgrades. Looking ahead, we are excited to progress the project further when we start phase two.

“This is the second training centre we’ve upgraded this year and the investment made by Develop demonstrates our commitment to providing high-quality training to delegates and businesses delivered by our expert trainers.”
