DSP acquires Canadian cloud services firm

Specialist database, cloud and applications managed service provider DSP has acquired Canada-based Eclipsys Solutions (Eclipsys) to grow its Oracle Cloud services offering and expand its geographical presence in North America.
This acquisition marks DSP’s first M&A activity since LDC’s recent investment and shows another step in DSP’s international growth plan, concentrating on expanding in North America and Europe.
The combined group’s revenues exceed £75m, with approximately 250 employees across the UK, Ireland, and North America.
Eclipsys, founded in 2009 and based in Ottawa, is the only Canada-based certified Oracle Cloud Solutions Provider (CSP).
They specialise in tailored services for managing, optimising, and modernising enterprise-grade database and IT infrastructure, with a strong focus on Oracle Cloud and OCI.
Operating from Nottingham, DSP offers assistance, managed services, and consultancy for Oracle, SQL Server, and Multi-Cloud technology.
With LDC’s backing, DSP is investing in product development and new technology to improve its cloud services for customers.
DSP received advice from Alantra, Altman Solon, BDO, Brown Jacobson, CIL, Gateley, KPMG, and RSM.
Eclipsys received advice from Alantra and LaBarge Weinstein.
