Richardson and MacBride noticed a need for genuine connections in a world saturated with uninspiring dating apps, leading them to team up with industry experts to offer programs that assist individuals in becoming ‘Date-ready.’
Both women envisioned a dating setting where people could have meaningful conversations and dress nicely, without the burden of commitments, with a focus on respect and the chance for romance.
Now, The One Dating Agency offers programs covering self-improvement, conversation skills, boosting confidence, wardrobe tips, hair and beauty transformations and personal presentation advice.
Members go through a detailed vetting process, where they connect one-on-one with a ‘One Seeker’ via Zoom.
This personal interaction helps applicants clarify their true preferences, making it easier to find the right match.
Richardson said: “Many have adapted to remote work, leading to a deficit in social skills and confidence. Some have forgotten how to date, how to dress, and how to engage in meaningful conversations.
