Developer sells property to local event production company

Melton Mowbray property developer Rotherhill has sold Brunel House to a local event production company.
The property is located in Newark’s main industrial area, spanning 27,500 sq ft with a mezzanine on a 2.65-acre site.
Rotherhill purchased the property in March 2023 from Vodaphone, who used it as a call centre.
Originally built in 1989 for Fleur de Lys Automobiles, it served as a vehicle manufacturing facility.
Ed Jeffrey from Rotherhill said: “This property is in an excellent location within an established industrial estate and benefits from strong transport links. Understanding the local market and demand for good quality second-hand industrial space with extensive hardstanding/yard areas, we saw the opportunity to return the property to its originally intended, industrial, use. We are pleased to have sold the property to a successful Newark-based business. The building will facilitate their growth and future job creation.”
Will Torr, representing heb, facilitated Rotherhill’s property acquisition and worked alongside co-agent Anthony Barrowcliffe of FHP to market the building.
Anthony Barrowcliffe from FHP said: “I am delighted that after high levels of interest, we could find the right buyer for this building. This new facility will support a local business’ growth and secure their future.”
