Innovate Freight, an IT consultancy specialising in freight and logistics, is sponsoring Generation Logistics.

Generation Logistics is a government supported initative aimed at discovering new talent in the industry.

They aim to target teens and young adults and to pinpoint sector shortages by uniting the department of transport, top employers and trade groups.

Innovative Freight, alongside other silver sponsors like Amazon, National Highways and Network Rail supports this cause.

Headquartered in Grantham the firm is launching a new division called Innovate Talent.

This new division is headed by Mark Chopping and Richard Litchfield, managing director of Innovate Freight.

Litchfield said: “We’re enthusiastic about transport and logistics as the best business to be in, and we’re excited to launch a new division of the business to find and engage the next generation of logistics talent.

“We know the types of people that thrive in our industry and are therefore thrilled to be supporting Generation Logistics and its essential work in the sector.”
