£7.5m Christmas windfall for Games Workshop staff
Staff at Nottingham-based fantasy games maker and retailer Games Workshop are set for a hefty Christmas bonus.
The company says it will pay £7.5m – or £2,500 to each its workers in December as a reward for another strong set of results.
The firm estimates that, for the six months to November 26, revenue will come in at £235m – up £25 on last year – while profit before tax will be £94m – a rise of just over £10m on 2022’s figures.
Meanwhile, dividends declared and paid in the period are195p per share, £64.2m (2022/23: 165p, £54.2 million)
Games Workshop says further details will be announced in its half yearly report which will be released on 9 January 2024
