Drainage firm staring administration in the face
A Leicester drainage and sewer business is facing an uncertain future, TheBusinessDesk.com understands.
Colus, which is based in Enderby, has posted a notice of intention to appoint administrators. The move will protect the firm from creditor action for a period of around 10 working days.
Colus’s latest accounts, made up to the end of August 2022, show the firm owed creditors over £4.2m.
At the time, the company employed 85 people – down from 122 in the previous year.
Colus’s website shows that it has worked with the likes of Anglian Water, Kier, Balfour Beatty and Severn Trent Water.
