Transport tech company extends support to workers

Nottingham-based transport technology company INIT has made a donation of £2,000 to the Transport Benevolent Fund CIO (TBF).

The charity offers assistance and support to individuals in the public transport industry in Great Britain facing hardship or distress.

The donation will aid TBF’s nationwide efforts, which have recently provided over £200,000 in support.

Jens Mullak, managing director of INIT, said: “With the tough economic landscape and the cost-of-living crisis, it has never been more important to support those who are in need. INIT has been a long-time supporter of TBF and the incredible work it does with those from our industry who need help, and this donation is a small token of our appreciation for
everything that they do.”

Shaun Hearn, Business Manager at TBF, said: “TBF is hugely grateful for this donation from INIT, which will help us carry out our vital work with those from the transport industry who need assistance. With our membership continuing to grow, such donations are crucial in ensuring that no call for support goes unanswered.”
