Architects secure planning permision for mixed-use development

IMA Architects has secured planning permission for a new mixed-use development in Glen Parva, Leicester.

In collaboration with its client, Anglia Healthcare, the project involves the transformation of the existing Anglia Healthcare and Mobility shop on Little Glenn Road.

The proposed scheme includes retail on the ground floor and residential spaces across two upper floors.

The ground floor retail area will be refurbished to serve as Anglia Healthcare’s new mobility showroom, offering a new retail environment along with office facilities, amenities, and parking provisions.

Anthony Day, managing director of IMA Architects said: “Securing planning permission for this site had been a complicated process. When we were brought in, the process had already been going on since 2021 so I am pleased that our design for this area of Little Glen Road has been approved and that work will soon begin on site.”
