Contractor reshuffles senior team as Flower blooms

Contractor Miller Knight has promoted Matthew Flower to managing director.

Flower joined Mansfield-based Miller Knight in 2019 as regeneration director and has over 30 years’ experience in the construction industry, he has brought a wealth of knowledge with him.

He said: “I feel hugely fortunate to have this opportunity, it is an honour and privilege to be appointed to lead our strong teams in delivering schemes for our clients.

“I am looking forward to building on what we have already achieved and improving what we do in line with our core values of being professional, passionate, meticulous, responsive and personal.”

The move will see former managing director, David Dickson, move up into a chief executive role.

He said: “With a strong pipeline of work secured for 2024, I truly believe now is the right time for me to step aside and pass the reins over to Matthew. He has been absolutely fundamental to how we have been delivering our projects and building our fantastic teams.

“I’d like to wish Matthew a huge congratulations on this well-deserved promotion, and to say that we are all excited to see where he will take our business on the next stage of its incredible journey.”
