Dickerson finds his place with promotion at BWB

Nottingham-based BWB Consulting, the engineering consultancy, has appointed Josh Dickerson to director of place.

Dickerson, who began his journey with BWB as a graduate, has more than a decade of experience delivering placemaking and digital strategies.

In recent years, Dickerson has led BWB’s involvement in several projects, including successful planning applications for masterplans at Trent Basin in Nottingham and Stocking Farm in Leicester; as well as one of the UK’s largest brownfield sites at Greyfriars in Northampton and policy for the South Yorkshire Active Travel Implementation Plan.

Dickerson will continue in his role leading Deetu, BWB’s sister company.

He said: “Placemaking is about creating spaces that people love and feel connected to. My vision is to integrate innovative digital tools and evidence-based approaches to bring this vision to life, ensuring that every project we undertake enhances the quality of life for its users,.
