Sills & Betteridge has acquired Nottingham headquartered Campions Solicitors.

The firm’s expansion into Nottingham began in 2013 with the acquisition of MacLaren Britton on King Street, extending its reach from Lincolnshire.

In 2019, Sills & Betteridge refurbished their George Street offices in Hockley, Nottingham, where the Campions team will now be based. As a result, Campions’ offices on Mansfield Road will close, while their operations in Pride Park, Derby, and Grove Park, Leicester, will continue under the firm’s stewardship.

The combined entity will operate across the East Midlands under the name Sills & Betteridge incorporating Campions, bringing together a wealth of expertise to better serve clients throughout the region.

Sills & Betteridge Chief Executive Martyn Hall said: “Bringing an established East Midlands brand like Campions on board will help us to develop our profile in the region and gain real competitive advantage in our complementary practice areas of family law, residential conveyancing and wills, trusts and probate. We look forward to working with their team and providing additional personal and commercial legal services to their clients.”

Campions Founder Stephen Campion said: “We are very pleased to be joining forces with Sills. We are aware of their strong reputation and wide range of legal services and believe our collective expertise and commitment to delivering excellent client care will truly benefit existing and future clients”.
