X-ray equipment supplier lands £3m contract with defence contractor

Image Scan Holdings plc, a specialist supplier of X-ray screening systems for security and industrial inspection markets, has entered into a 3m contract with UK defence contractor NP Aerospace.

The contract will see the Loughborough-based firm supply its ThreatScan® portable X-ray system.

Anticipated to start with a three-month trial in September 2024, the contract is valued at approximately £3m over 36 months.

The ThreatScan® system improves bomb technicians’ capabilities with rapid and precise threat assessments, featuring a portable X-ray generator, detection panel and advanced image processing software.
