Maintenance services firm moves into 13,500 sq ft unit
Gas Turbine Services, a division of the Anglo-Danish HKJ Group, has signed a new lease for 13,347 sq ft of industrial space at Teal Park, Whisby Road, Lincoln.
The deal was facilitated by property agency, Eddisons’ local office on behalf of the landlord.
Gas Turbine Services, established over 30 years ago and headquartered in Esbjerg, Denmark, has been operating in the Lincoln area for the past 16 years.
The company is relocating from its current site at Leafbridge Business Park to Teal Park, a key hub for industrial gas turbine maintenance in Lincoln.
Two years ago, the business identified that the Leafbridge facility would hinder future growth in both engine throughput and responsiveness to the evolving and competitive energy market.
Robert Dye, technical director and co-owner, said: “For our specific sector specialisation, there was never any question of relocating outside of the Lincoln area – especially taking into account the wealth of local expertise and knowledge as we recruit and expand our business.”
Will Wall, director at Eddisons, who led the property deal on behalf of the landlord, said: “Gas turbines are one of the long-established specialisms of the manufacturing sector in Lincoln and the surrounding area.
“The county’s position on the map, with access to the east coast ports and a road network to the engineering hinterland of the East Midlands, makes it a prime location for operators in the energy sector. The longevity of Gas Turbine Services’ presence in Lincolnshire is a testament to that.”
