Octavian staff upskill as online learning platform proves an instant hit

A Nottinghamshire security firm is hailing the success of its online learning initiative – after it was officially launched.

A host of staff at Nottinghamshire-based security firm Octavian Security UK have already completed courses on the new online learning platform called the Octavian Learning Management System (LMS) Training Programme.

The Octavian LMS offers nearly 100 online courses covering a range of topics, including compliance & safety, communication, business ethics, fire marshalling, media training, and more.

Kiran Ghuman, Managing Director of Octavian Security UK, said: “Our staff have really got on board with the training programmes. Indeed, some of our people have completed almost 70 courses over the last few months as they look to continue their personal and professional development with Octavian.

“It is vital that we continue to invest in our staff and work with them to continue an ongoing programme of upskilling and succession planning for the future.

The Octavian LMS is a self-learning platform for personal development, with no time restrictions and certification on completion.

Octavian Security UK plans to expand its course offerings significantly. From the initial 100 courses, the company aims to increase it to approximately 500 learning & development programmes for business and personal development.
