Care home provider expands portfolio with three new sites

A care home provider has acquired three purpose-built care homes in Leicestershire expanding its portfolio to 12 properties across the region.
Midlands Care has acquired Parkhouse Grange Care Home in Earl Shilton, Whetstone Grange Care Home in Whetstone and Enderby Grange Care Home in Narborough, with the help of Shakespeare Martineau.
The care homes provide rooms, communal areas, and specialised amenities for residents needing personal care, including those with dementia and other health conditions.
Shyamal Raja, managing director of Midlands Care, said: “With the addition of these homes and adjoining land for a planned purpose-built daycare facility in 2025, we are well-positioned to enhance the already exceptional care we offer.
“Midlands Care now operates a total of 12 elder care facilities. All services work closely with one another and collaborate to improve outcomes within Leicestershire. I look forward to seeing the positive impact this acquisition will have on our services and the communities we serve.
“I would like to extend my sincere thanks to the Shakespeare Martineau team for their exceptional efforts in facilitating this deal on our behalf. Their dedication has been instrumental in ensuring the success of this significant step forward for our organisation.”
Shakespeare Martineau supported with the acquisition, providing transactional and strategic advice on the purchase.
Roger Harcourt, corporate partner at Shakespeare Martineau who led the deal, said: “This acquisition not only highlights Midlands Care’s ambition to expand but also reflects the team’s commitment to providing exceptional care.
“We’ve had the privilege of supporting Midlands Care in acquiring eight homes so far, and it’s been an exciting journey to witness the business’ continued growth. Each deal brings new opportunities for enhancing care services and community support, and we are proud to have played a part in this latest milestone.”
