Historic furniture store set for redevelopment

Local Derby firm MHL Commercial has acquired the Finewood Studios site on Station Road, Mickleover.

Originally established in 1976 as a family-run furniture store, it operated for 50 years until its closure in March 2023.

Facilitated by BB&J Commercial, the sale sets the stage for its redevelopment into a mixed-use space.
