Lime Restaurant takes curry crown

Lime Restaurant, based in Nuthall, Nottingham has been crowned Best Restaurant in the East Milands at the sixth annual English Curry Awards.

Lime enters its eighth year this October and has been recommended in the prestigious Michelin guide for the last 3 years including 2016.

Owners Shahid and Smaira Rana were delighted to accept the award on the night.

Shahid said: “We have gone from strength to strength over the past few years and are honoured to find ourselves in the company of big players for such a sought after award.

“This is our second time being crowned East Midlands Restaurant of the Year and we are extremely proud of our achievement. We will continue to strive to provide outstanding Indian cuisine.”
