Goose Fair
Date: Wednesday 5th – Sunday 9th October
Location: Forrest Recreation Ground, Nottingham
This autumn, the Forest Recreation Ground will once again host over 500 attractions, from the latest white knuckle experiences and family rides to the old favourites including waltzers, carousels and Hook-a-Duck.
This stellar presentation will be joined by a range of new extreme rides which have proven popular elsewhere. The fair will be serving up everything from candy floss to brandy snaps as well as offering a chance for visitors to eat their way around the world with Chinese noodles, Indian kebabs, Mexican churros, Spanish paella, French crepes and Caribbean dishes.
Lincoln craft market
Date: Saturday 8th October
Location: Lincoln Cornhill
Local artisans are set to showcase their craftsmanship at this bimonthly market which offers a wide range of hand made products to purchase, including ceramics, pottery, jewellery, gemstones, metalwork, mosaics, paper crafts, photography, soaps and candles, as well as textiles and woodwork.
There will also be home baked cakes and preserves to buy as you browse the collection of handmade wares.

Step inside Nottingham’s spectacular Spiegel Tent this Saturday and enjoy the beautiful century old travelling dance hall, complete with ornate decoration and mirrors. The night is set to host a jam-packed schedule of great events including family theatre, music performances, a comedy night, burlesque shows and food and drink.
