A provider of communications solutions has expanded its Wilmslow office to support ambitious growth plans for 2019.

Zest4 have taken an additional 1,790 sq ft of work space at Orbit Development’s 50 Alderley Road, taking its total office occupation to more than 4,000 sq ft.

The expansion will help to accommodate the current workforce of 35 and move quickly to a 50-strong team to capitalise on the opportunities being created by fast-moving developments in digital technology and AI.

The innovative company, set up six years ago, offers a comprehensive range of unified communications products and services to businesses via a reseller network, including fixed-lines, mobile solutions, hosted telephony, data and mobile voice recording.

Zest4’s operations and business development director Mandy Fazelynia said that the Government was now making the necessary investments to bring high speed fibre roll out and 5G capabilities to British businesses.

“We are still a long way behind our European counterparts in relation to access to full fibre, but in time it will be quicker and easier for businesses to take advantage of exciting internet and now AI-enabled innovation across the board – and we are well placed to capitalise.”

On the expansion, she added: “The senior management team have been based in the town for over 20 years and we were keen to create and build a workforce locally.

“With partners all over the UK we make the most of Wilmslow’s excellent transport links using its regular train services to London, good motorway network and the airport. It’s a perfect location for us.”

James Nicholson, Orbit’s leasing surveyor, said: “Zest4 is an exciting fast-growing business, and we are delighted that they have chosen to expand their operations in Wilmslow.

“We worked closely with them to accommodate the current workforce and prepare for future growth. We wish them every success.”
