First look inside Dixie Dean Hotel’s new restaurant

Plans for No9 restaurant in Signature's Dixie Dean hotel

Signature Living’s Dixie Dean Hotel has unveiled CGIs of how its new restaurant-bar, No9, will look when it opens in just eight weeks’ time.

The restaurant is named after the number on the back of Everton legend Dixie Dean’s shirt.

The Blues star famously scored 60 goals in just one season and was much-loved by the club and its fans.

The restaurant-bar, which seats a total of 160 people, has been designed with deep royal blue and aqua blue hues that dominate the colour scheme and are synonymous with Everton FC.

The colours have then been complemented with regal gold embellishment, exposed brick walls and luxurious wood which completes the lavish interior.

Plush furnishings, including comfortable dining and tub chairs, huge ornate mirrors, plush couches and an array of striking memorabilia that fans can enjoy, give the perfect finish to this new restaurant-bar.

No9 aims to become Liverpool’s new and must-visit all-day dining destination in its own right.

Priding itself on British cuisine, its menu will comprise extensive breakfast options including a vast, unlimited breakfast buffet, delicious afternoon tea, lunch dishes, and an A La Carte evening menu.

The bar will be the focal point of the back of the restaurant, with an expertly-created cocktail menu, premium spirits, wines and beers all available, making it ideal for after work drinks, couples’ date nights and family gatherings.

No9’s opening will mark the launch of the first phase of the Dixie Dean Hotel, with the second phase following shortly after in June.

The second phase will see impressive hotel rooms opening that will be in keeping with the unique designs that Signature Living is renowned for.

The launch of Dixie Dean Hotel will see the creation of the UK’s first Football Quarter, as it opens opposite the popular Shankly Hotel.

Life-size bronze statues of Liverpool and Everton legends will be positioned outside both hotels, with grand canopies also placed outside the entrances to give guests a special welcome.

Lawrence Kenwright, founder of Signature Living, said: “We can’t wait to see the Dixie Dean Hotel open opposite The Shankly – it will mark the creation of the UK’s first Football Quarter which is very exciting.

“I’m delighted to give Blues fans a place where they can stay, eat and drink. No9 will be a great place for celebrations of any kind and we look forward to seeing guests there.”
