Lancaster Buildings almost full

TWO new tenants have taken space on the second floor at Lancaster Buildings, 77 Deansgate in Manchester.

The National Housing Federation has taken 1,500sq ft on a 10-year lease with a break at five years and Healthier Futures has taken 2,537sq ft.

OBI Property acted on behalf of BCL Legal, the owner of Lancaster Buildings.  BCL Legal occupies the whole of the third floor.  Following the two new lettings only 3,800sq ft of space remains available in Lancaster Buildings.

Debbie Meredith, transactions and asset management, OBI Property said: “It is great to welcome National Housing Federation and Healthier Futures to Lancaster Buildings.  Following the purchase of the building last year by BCL Legal, and OBI Property’s recent remodelling of the reception and communal areas, Lancaster Buildings has been a very popular choice with occupiers.”

National Housing Federation, which represents the work of housing associations, has moved from Trafford and the new space will accommodate its team of 12.  Mark Canning from Canning O’Neill acted on behalf of the National Housing Federation.

Lallita Paul, head of facilities management, National Housing Federation, said:  “Lancaster Buildings is a great location for our Manchester office.  Its central location means it easy for our staff and visiting members to get to and the quality of the space is fantastic.”

Healthier Futures is a social enterprise whose mission is to help people live longer, happier, healthier lives and has moved from Dale House, Dale Street to Lancaster Buildings. Healthier Futures CIC was represented by Andrew Cooke at Savills.
