New city centre flexible office opens its doors
Runway East has opened the doors of its newest workspace in Arca Birmingham this week.
Its 10th site comprising 20,000 sq ft has opened in the former St Phillips Point building, after being transformed by Bath-based office design and fit-out company Interaction.
With views of Birmingham’s Cathedral Square and meeting rooms named after Cadbury’s products, Runway East has filled the space with fun prints and warm furnishings.
Already a quarter occupied, there are still private offices and dedicated desks available from £360 a month, and once full, it will be home to over 400 members who join the Runway East ecosystem, with access across their 10 sites in London, Bristol and Brighton.
Offices are fully customisable office spaces for teams of 4 – 100 people, there is a large roof terrace with views over the city, thousands of square feet of breakout space and 15+ meeting rooms and phone booths on site.
Natasha Guerra, CEO and founder of Runway East said: “It has been an ambition of mine to open in Birmingham so this is a real milestone for me.
“Home of industry, it is now driving forward the green revolution, leading innovation, tech and development. The city is thriving and we’re committed to playing our part by housing the entrepreneurs and business shaping its future by creating offices people want to be in, boosting productivity and supporting team bliss.”
Runway East is a B-Corp-certified flexible workspace provider, which has been operational since 2014. Led by Natasha Guerra, it has now grown to 10 spaces, across London, Birmingham, Brighton and Bristol. Businesses using their space include Deliveroo, Matches Fashion, and Grind, among other household names.
