Energy efficient homes near completion
A scheme to deliver energy efficient homes in Plymouth is nearing completion.
The ten new energy-efficient, sustainable homes, built on site of the former Morley Youth Centre, off Broadland Gardens in Plymstock, are available in a mix of two, three and four bedroomed options.
With all main construction and fitting out now complete, and many of the houses already sold, work is now focused on external works and landscaping before the project finishes completely later this summer.
Cllr Chris Penberthy said: “Each and every time I visit Broadland Gardens I’m taken aback by the quality of the design and the build. They really do set the standard for the market.
“I think it’s because of this quality that we have already sold so many. It’s proof that modern, adaptable, energy-efficient homes with the latest technology can be delivered across Plymouth.”
While five of the new homes have already been snapped up, five remain for sale.
